The price applies to labor only, not parts/components.
Delivery and pickup for service is Mon–Fri 10:00–17:00. Elektronisk Bureau is not a drop-in workshop; appointments must be scheduled in advance.
Please notify us of the day and approximate time you wish to deliver (within opening hours), at least one day in advance.

SERVICE:
Elektronisk Bureau provides service, repair, restoration, and modification of turntables, and custom-builds cabinets/plinths upon request. We have good access to spare parts and, in some cases, the ability to produce new ones.
We also service and rewire tonearms.
We also carry out service, repair, and restoration of loudspeakers and speaker elements.
For other electronics such as amplifiers, cassette decks, etc., please send an email inquiry, and we will assess on a case-by-case basis.
Elektronisk Bureau does not accept newer electronics such as DVD players, home theater receivers, etc.
CD players can be repaired and/or cleaned, but if the laser is defective, this is usually much more expensive than the unit is worth.
PRICES:
Preliminary inspection before repair costs NOK 750 incl. VAT, regardless of outcome. This includes disassembly, troubleshooting, parts pricing, obtaining schematics, and a report.
If the unit is repaired, this cost is included in the final price.
Service price: NOK 890 per hour incl. VAT, incl. 25% discount. Parts are additional. Minimum charge is one hour.
The total price will be agreed upon before work begins.
Communication is primarily by email, for documentation purposes and to avoid verbal misunderstandings.
Repairs come with a 2-month warranty from Elektronisk Bureau.
Only components of the same or better quality than the originals are used.
Special/expensive parts that are not in stock must be paid in advance.
For custom-made turntables, furniture, consoles, etc., 50% of the price must be paid in advance.
If the unit must be collected from the post office and packed/shipped after the repair, a half-hour labor charge will apply,
plus return shipping according to postal rates.
We do not accept COD (cash on delivery) packages. We are not responsible for how the unit is packed when shipped to us.
