Together with Thorens TD-160, the TD-165 is one of the most widely used drives for modification. Basically a very good turntable, but the old TP-16 arm has been outdone by time.
 So what's better than a Rega RP-3? It is of course a Thorens drivetrain with floating suspension mounted on a Rega RB-300 arm.
 Together with the Nagaoka MP-110 pickup, this plays big, with bold bass and a crystal clear and quick top. A really cool package both in terms of sound and appearance.

 Player is disassembled, cleaned, lubricated, polished and adjusted. Suspension is acoustically attenuated for a tighter sound reproduction. New power cable, new strap and new, better damping mat for the disc from French AudioRef. Vibration-damped base plate with new rubber feet.
 Technically looks much better than new, cosmetically the box is very pretty with some insignificant small marks. The top plate has some scratches.
