The TD-150 was Thorens' first turntable with belt drive and floating suspension, and set the standard for most other manufacturers in retrospect. The model for sale is basically an MkII, but heavily rebuilt.
 The player is internally resonant, the rim has been given an extra layer of MDF which is again veneered with real Honduras Rosewood from the 60s. Top plate and armbase are resonance damped, painted in glossy white and polished. New and thicker base plate, also this extra damped. New white cushioning feet.
 Engine cleaned and lubricated, pulley and bearings polished.
 The player has fitted an SA-750D high-end arm, the top model of Tonar. Pickup is a Nagaoka MP-110.
 The plate has a new rubber mat with a Perspex mat on top of this. New and original Thorens strap is put on.
